So what, it warms up a little and no one comes to the boards any more?

Very good question. We're open to ideas. Actually, Corin and I are working on one right now, but its not ready to be released to the public just yet.

But please, everyone share some ideas for what you think we can do to up the traffic and participation here. There are so many talented people here there is no reason this community should not thrive.

I've just not had the time to work on any projects, and, following a very nasty case of cyber-stalking, have been steering clear of forums...
I'm only here now to pick people's brains....

Eek, cyber stalking doesn't sound fun.

We're glad to have you pick our brains. That's what this whole thing is about. So stop by and chat us up.

I have been quiet of late, and getting deployed to Germany did not help any.

Here I am in Deutschland. Had to leave my costumes back in Kentucky.
I feel deprived!!

Sorry that I pretty much dropped out of sight. Literally a couple of days after the wonderful time we all had together at C4, I encountered some difficulties at work of questionable legality and ethics, tried to report them, and the following week my contract was suddenly terminated. I've been trying to survive and find a new position, but the last year has been hell. I've burned through credit cards and savings to stay afloat, so you can understand that costuming had to fall way off the priority list. I'm in a bit of a better position now, but still have a lot of paying off of bills to go through. It's my hope that I can rejoin the hobby soon, but I don't really know when I can be active again.

Mordak has been in good shape, but has fallen under the Sith Mind Compulsion trick known as "Wedding Preparations" over the last year. So he'll probably not be around til well after the nuptials.

I hope things are still going well for Corin, Jedibrain, and your wonderful wives. I have fond memories of the time spent at C4 with you all. I love what you've done with the Mando project by the way. Smile

Hey Han, sorry that things have been so rough for you. I've been there before and know what it is like. I hope things continue on the upward for you. Tell Mordak to get out while he still can, lol!

Many apologies, had a great many things to work on.

First off, a few things have changed in my life; my fiancee moved in with me two months after CIV and there was much adjustment as well as wedding prep work/etc. Basically, I get married July 20 and I have a 2nd reception Aug. 2 in NJ and that has been absorbing all my time.

Had a few major purchase items drop on me (not necessarily bad, just unplanned for at the time) and those soaked up cash to do fun things with. Basically, I rediscovered another hobby I had put on hold while I was getting ready for CIV and finally finished up the project as a wedding present to myself, unfortunately, this project resulted in me contracting BRD and now the rest of my free cash for this year will probably go towards analgesic relief of my BRD. Laughing I'll post up pics in off-topic eventually . . . .

Anyways, back to the salt mine.

A frind of mine keeps bugging me to do Vader. He's got most of the parts already sculpted. We'd need some shoulder bells and most of the clothing. Every time I see him he reminds me my 6'4" frame would make a great vader. He's almost broken me down. I might do it.

I've got an ever growing project wish list.

1. Clone Scout Armor
2. Republic Commando Armor
3. Vader
4. Dark/Tainted Jedi

I also want to scuplt a custom mando helmet. Where will I find the time and money?
